Thank you for looking for more information about our Come and Sing course. At the bottom of the page you can sign up to join us, but first, here is some useful information.
Is singing good for me?
I have no singing experience
That is not a problem. Of our existing members, only about one third can read music. Most members had not sung in an organised choir before they joined, so we are used to dealing with new singers.
What to expect
Everyone is welcome to attend our five week course, but bear in mind that we are a male acapella group. In five weeks, you will learn two songs and get tips for improving your singing from our experienced coaching team.
On the first night, you will be provided with music and teach tracks to help learn your notes.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! The whole course is completely free. However, at the end we will ask participants to make a voluntary contribution to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Where is the meeting?
We meet in the church hall at Wetherby Methodist Church, Bank Street, LS22 6NQ. There is no parking at the church, so you are recommended to use the Crossley Street car park. See map below. We are starting at 8 pm and will finish around 9.30.
Can I just turn up?
Absolutely. However it would help our planning if you would complete the registration form below. We can then send you any updates beforehand.
